Hogg Hummock Artisan Market Co-op
Our mission is to celebrate and preserve the rich heritage of our Gullah Geechee culture by fostering a vibrant artisan's market co-op and fresh produce market. We are committed to empowering our local artisans and farmers, providing access to culturally significant goods, and creating a sustainable hub for community connection, education, and economic growth. Through honoring our ancestral traditions and promoting wellness, we will cultivate a space that nourishes the body, mind, and spirit while uplifting the legacy of the Gullah Geechee people.
The Hogg Hummock Artisan Market Co-op is one of our programs that we're really excited about. We are currently raising funds to renovate a 100 year old store into an herbal apothecary and community artisan's market that will feature fresh local produce and herbs, handcrafted sweetgrass baskets, handmade dolls, art and baked goods, all made by local artisan's of Historic Hogg Hummock.
