Hogg Hummock Artisan Market
Our mission is to celebrate and preserve the rich heritage of our Gullah Geechee culture by fostering a vibrant artisan's market collective and fresh produce market. We are committed to empowering our local artisans and farmers, providing access to culturally significant goods, and creating a sustainable hub for community connection, education, and economic growth. Through honoring our ancestral traditions and promoting wellness, we have cultivated a space that nourishes the body, mind, and spirit while uplifting the legacy of the Gullah Geechee people.
The Hogg Hummock Artisan Market is a program of the Mystic Roots Foundation. We are currently raising funds to renovate a 105 year old store into an herbal apothecary and community artisan's market that will feature fresh local produce and herbs, handcrafted sweetgrass baskets, handmade dolls, art and baked goods, all made by local artisan's of the Historic Hogg Hummock Community.
